TypingOwl Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of TypingOwl Terms

By using TypingOwl's typing tests, practice sessions, and certificate features, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms of service, please do not use our typing platform.

2. Use of TypingOwl Typing Service

You agree to use TypingOwl's typing tests, online practice platform, and certificate system only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not misuse our typing service or attempt to access it using unauthorized methods other than the interface and instructions we provide for typing tests.

3. TypingOwl User Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your TypingOwl account credentials and for all typing test activities that occur under your account. TypingOwl reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent typing test behavior.

4. TypingOwl Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality on TypingOwl's typing platform, including but not limited to typing test content, practice exercises, certificate templates, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of TypingOwl or its licensors, unless otherwise stated in our attribution section.

5. User-Generated Content and Typing Data

By submitting content to TypingOwl or using our typing tests, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your typing performance data and any submitted content for the operation, improvement, and promotion of our typing service and certificate system.

6. Third-Party Content and Digital Assets

TypingOwl may incorporate third-party images, icons, typing exercises, or other digital assets in our platform. These third-party materials are subject to their respective licenses and copyrights. See Section 11 for complete attributions and licensing information.

7. Third-Party Services, Analytics, and Advertising

TypingOwl integrates third-party services to provide authentication, hosting, analytics, and monetization. These may include, but are not limited to, Supabase (for authentication and data storage), Vercel or similar hosting providers, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (for usage analytics), Microsoft Clarity (for session analysis), and advertising partners such as Google AdSense.

By using our Service, you acknowledge that these third parties may process certain technical and usage information subject to their own terms and privacy policies. TypingOwl does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of those services is at your own risk and may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the respective providers.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties for Typing Services

TypingOwl's typing test service, online practice platform, and certificate system are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for typing improvement, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability for Typing Platform

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TypingOwl and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our typing test service, practice platform, or certificate features.

10. Changes to TypingOwl Terms of Service

We may update these TypingOwl Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our typing service or legal requirements. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of our typing platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law and Legal Jurisdiction

These TypingOwl Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes related to our typing service shall be resolved in accordance with U.S. federal and state laws.

12. Third-Party Assets and Legal Attributions

TypingOwl uses icons, images, and digital assets from third-party sources in our typing platform. The following assets are used under their respective licenses and require proper attribution:
